A VR camera is a set of two or more synchronized camera units capturing a 180º to 360º visual range that would realistically match human perception once viewed in a VR headset. That’s where “immersion” comes from - viewers experience things as if being there and watching with their own eyes. Thus POV videos are extremely popular, with things seen at a human scale. Along with binaural audio it allows immersion into action based on the nature of human perception. A different mindset producing VR is at play than with conventional flat videos.
We are launching a series of posts to help producers create a VR rig with the Zcam K1 Pro, K2 Pro and Vuze XR cameras. Here you will learn how to build a POV and moving camera rig.

From now on you can easily stream from the Zcam K2 Pro camera to Oculus Quest and Quest 2 headsets with the help of Raspberry Pi. This brings the director's monitor view right into VR and you can adjust the scene before you press the record button. You might try recording and streaming at the same time.
We’re delighted with the latest updates to the DeoVR app. Here are some of the new improved functionalities you can now enjoy.
