(Immersive Impact)

 

Welcome to the Competition terms and conditions (Conditions). INFOMEDIJI offers an online Competition with the purpose of submitting VR Content from individuals (the Entrant) and offering prizes as a reward to those voted most popular. We hope you are enjoying your visit to Our Website. Please note that by using this Website and if you enter Our Competition, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound these terms and conditions hereunder, do not use or access this Website and do not enter the Competition. You must read and accept all of the terms and conditions contained herein together with Our Privacy Policy before you may use or access the Website in any way, or enter the Competition.

By using the Website and entering the Competition you warrant that you are aged 18 years or over.

  1. Interpretation

In these terms and conditions:

Competition” means the Competition to submit VR content, named “Immersive Impact”, which is described in detail, in Schedule 2.

Competition Rules” means Conditions 15 to 21 inclusive hereunder.

"Conditions" means these Competition terms and conditions.

DeoVR Terms” means the terms and conditions, content guidelines, and community standards published on the Website, available at deovr.com/pages/terms, or any successor page designated by DeoVR, as may be updated from time to time.

Entrant” means the individual, or person who enters the Competition.

Force Majeure Event” means Any event outwith the reasonable control of INFOMEDIJI, including but not limited to: act of god, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, extreme weather, war or threat of war, sabotage, pandemic flu or virus, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition, acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures or any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions, power cuts or trade disputes (whether involving Our employees or of a third-party).

INFOMEDIJI” and “We / Us / Our” means INFOMEDIJI, spletne storitve, d.o.o. a company registered in Slovenia (Company ID: 6450784000) and with its registered office at Tehnološki park 19, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.

"Information" means any and all material contained in this Website.

Intellectual Property” means any VR Content, patent, invention, copyright, database right, registered or unregistered design, trademark (whether registered or unregistered), trade name, logo, trade secrets, know-how or other industrial or intellectual property right subsisting anywhere in the world, and applications for any of the foregoing, together with the goodwill thereon.

Prizes” means the benefits awarded via the INFOMEDIJI judging process (as more fully described in Sections 18, 19, and detailed in Schedule 1 of this document), which shall be awarded after the submission end date of August 07th, 2025.

Submission Process” means the process of submitting VR Content to INFOMEDIJI via the Website from the submission start date of July 07th, 2025.

the User” and “you” means you, the user of this Website.

the VR Content” means the virtual reality or other video content submitted by the Entrant in accordance with the technical requirements set out in Clause 18.5.1.3.

the Website” means DeoVR website, operated by INFOMEDIJI operating under URL https://deovr.com/

VR” means virtual reality.

Category” means one of the three thematic areas under which VR Content may be submitted: “Live Performance,” “Exploration & Reality,” or “Cinematic Expression,” as further described in clause 18.5.1.4 and Schedule 2.

2. Basis of Use of the Website

You agree to the following:-

2.1 that you understand, acknowledge and accept the exclusion of liability and disclaimer provisions contained hereafter;

2.2 that you will only view the Information for your own private purpose and will not publish, reproduce, store or retransmit any of the Information contained in the Website at any time;

2.3 that you shall not use the Information for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful manner;

2.4 that you shall not use the Website or the Information in any manner which may constitute an infringement of any third-party rights (including but not limited to rights of copyright, trademark or confidentiality);

2.5 that you shall not run any tools on the Website that systematically retrieve web pages for offline or online viewing; whether it be for personal, commercial, experimental, educational or any other use;

2.6 that all intellectual property rights (including without limitation copyright, trademarks and all other rights) whatsoever in the Information and the Website shall remain vested in Entrant at all times;

2.7 that you acknowledge that INFOMEDIJI has no obligation to provide the Website or any Information or to ensure that you are able to use, provide and/or access the Information, and the Website;

2.8 that you will indemnify and keep indemnified INFOMEDIJI against all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising out of any misuse of the Information or the Website or breach of your obligations under his agreement.

2.9 that you are solely responsible for interactions with other Users of the Website and that you are solely responsible for all Content and VR Content that you publish or post to the Website or transmit to other Users of this Website.

In addition, you agree that you will not:

2.10 say or do anything that would cause annoyance, inconvenience, harassment or needless anxiety to others;

2.11 advertise or promote third party or Your own products or services including by way of the distribution of 'spam' mail;

2.12 use foul, threatening or offensive language including, without limitation, racist, sexist, ageist, homophobic or sexually explicit language where inappropriate;

2.13 make insulting remarks to or about other Entrants ("flaming");

2.14 jump in and out of Website forum rooms ("frogging");

2.15 distribute illegal, copyright infringing, indecent or offensive material or any messages or content that may incite disorder or encourage illegal activities or that causes or may cause harm to minors;

2.16 impersonate another person or Member;

2.17 transfer files that contain viruses, trojans or other harmful programs;

2.18 use the Website to conduct any fraudulent activity including any "pyramid scheme"; "ponzi scheme" or "chain letter";

2.19 access or attempt to access the accounts of other Entrants or to penetrate or attempt to penetrate the Website security measures;

2.20 include in public, any personal data on this Website any telephone numbers, street addresses, email addresses and;

2.21 include in any content, the address of an internet Website.

2.22 point your personal homepage link to a website to which you do not have full file transfer access.

3. Data Protection

INFOMEDIJI considers the protection of your personal information to be very important. For further information please read Our Privacy Policy.

4. Proprietary Rights

All Intellectual Property Rights in the materials on this Website (as well as the organisation and layout of this Website) together with the underlying software code are owned by, licensed or authorised to INFOMEDIJI, its assignees, licensees or sub-licensees thereof and the copyright in the text, artwork, graphics and images on the Website is owned by INFOMEDIJI or its licensors or its content or technology providers except where otherwise specified. Nothing in these Conditions transfers to you any rights of ownership of such intellectual property rights, or constitutes a licence to use such intellectual property rights other than to the extent expressly set out in these Conditions. Without Our prior written permission, you may not copy, modify, alter, publish, broadcast, distribute, sell or transfer any material on this Website or the underlying software code whether in whole or in part. However, the contents of this Website may be downloaded, printed or copied for your personal non-commercial use.

5. Disclaimer

5.1 To the fullest extent permitted at law, this Website and its contents is provided on an “as is” basis and makes no (and expressly disclaims all) representations or warranties of any kind, with respect to this Website or its contents or their suitability, reliability or usefulness for any purpose.

5.2 In addition, INFOMEDIJI does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this Website is accurate, complete or current.

5.3 While every effort is made to ensure accurate and complete information, INFOMEDIJI, nor its directors, employees or representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this Website or the information, content, materials or products included on this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind.

6. Changes

We reserve the right at any time without notice to revise the contents of the Website including these Conditions. Any changes to these Conditions will be posted on this Website and by continuing to use this site following any such change you will be agreeing to be bound by the revised Terms and Conditions.

7. Acceptable Use

7.1 You may only use this Website in accordance with the DeoVR Terms and, in any event, for lawful and proper purposes which includes complying with all applicable laws, regulations and codes of practice. For the avoidance of doubt, all VR Content submitted as part of the Competition must also comply with the DeoVR Terms. INFOMEDIJI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any submission that violates such policies.

7.2 You acknowledge that we may be required by law or regulation to access, monitor, store or copy material sent by or to Entrants without further notice to you.

8. Links to Other Websites

8.1 This Website may include links to other Internet sites. We do not endorse any such Websites and We are not responsible for the information, material, products or services contained on or accessible through those Websites. Your access and use of such Websites remains solely at your own risk.

8.2 You may only link to this Website with Our express written permission. We expressly reserve the right to withdraw Our consent at any time to a link which in Our sole opinion is inappropriate or controversial.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event will We be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of access to, or the use of this Website or any information contained in it, including loss of profit and the like whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Disclaimer of Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, We disclaim all implied warranties with regard to the information, services and materials contained on this Website. All such information, services and materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any breach of these Conditions caused by a Force Majeure event.

12. Dispute Resolution

Should any dispute arise out of these Conditions, parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.



13. Assignation

INFOMEDIJI shall be entitled to subcontract, assign or transfer Our obligations or rights to a competent third-party or to any associated company whether in whole or in part. The User may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations without Our written consent.



14. Miscellaneous

These Conditions contain all the terms of your agreement with Us relating to your use of this Website. No other written or oral statement (including statements in any brochure or promotional literature published by Us) will be incorporated. Your use of this Website, any downloaded material from it and the operation of these Conditions shall be governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with the law of Slovenia and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Slovenian courts.

Competition Rules

15. Competition Organiser

The Competition is organised by “INFOMEDIJI” and “We / Us / Our” means INFOMEDIJI, spletne storitve, d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia (Company ID: 6450784000) and with its registered office at Tehnološki park 19, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia ("INFOMEDIJI").

16. Events outwith Our control

INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Competition Rules without notice in the event of a Force Majeure Event. Any changes will be posted within these Conditions on the Website. A copy of the Rules may also be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Competition Rules, INFOMEDIJI, spletne storitve d.o.o., Tehnološki park 19, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.

17. Disputes

In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of INFOMEDIJI shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

18. Entering the Competition

18.1 VR Content must be submitted electronically via the Website. To do so, you will be required to follow the online submission process. When submitting VR Content, you will be required to register with Us and complete certain required fields on a form. This may include the provision of security information such as your identification details and password(s). You agree that you will be responsible for ensuring that such security information is kept secure and confidential at all times. You must inform us immediately if you become aware of or suspect any unauthorised use of these security details or if they become available to an unauthorised party.

18.2. By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Entrants.

18.3 The address you provide with your Competition entry will be used to send any prizes so please make sure this is correct. Unless stated otherwise, the Competition is only open to residents not listed in Schedule 3. Any country listed in Schedule 3, is prohibited from taking part in the Competition. Any entry will not be entitled to enter the Competition if you are resident in any of the countries listed in Schedule 3. The 1st place Prize, SLAM XCAM can only be shipped to addresses in Western Europe, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Australia, and Mainland China. Shipping to other regions is not supported at this time. In regions where shipment is not possible or not supported, INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to offer a replacement prize at its sole discretion. INFOMEDIJI may also require that any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or local charges be borne by the prize recipient.18.4 INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the Entrant has breached any of the Rules.

18.5 The Entrant understands and agrees that there are technical parameters to the submitting VR Content. Failure to comply may lead to the Entrant being disqualified, subject to these additional conditions.

18.5.1 The following additional conditions relate to the Entrant who wants to enter VR Content;

18.5.1.1 submission requirements for VR Content. The Entrant must submit original VR Content, that is a minimum of three (3) minutes in length.

18.5.1.3 the Entrant must ensure the VR Content is formatted in VR180, VR360, Side-by-side 3D and flat 2D for compatibility.

18.5.1.4 the Entrant must tag the VR Content, “Live Performance”, “Exploration & Reality” and/or “Cinematic Expression” Category before uploading. All submissions must align with the thematic requirements of the selected Category. INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to disqualify or reassign any VR Content that does not correspond to the applicable Category, at its sole discretion.

18.5.1.5 for clarity, the submission Start Date for the competition is, July 07, 2025, and submission End Date is August 07, 2025.

19. Prizes

19.1 Prize winners will be notified in the manner and within the time specified on the Website (and may be contacted by INFOMEDIJI or INFOMEDIJI’s nominated supplier(s)). Competition winner(s)’ names will be published on the Website and announced on August 15, 2025.

19.2 We will endeavour to distribute the Prizes by September 15, 2025.

19.3. Prizes are non-transferable and no alternative will be provided, except as expressly approved by INFOMEDIJI. However, INFOMEDIJI may, at its sole discretion, permit the transfer of certain prize types (such as digital subscriptions) upon written request from the prize winner. INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value at any time.

19.4. All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses upgrades etc.) as the case may be, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

19.5 The winner will be judged to have received the greater number of “likes” accumulated during the Competition period (from the point of upload to August 07, 2025).

19.6 Entrants may submit VR Content under multiple Categories (as defined in clause 18.5.1.4); however, no more than one Prize shall be awarded to any Entrant per Category. In cases where an Entrant qualifies for more than one prize within a single category, only the highest-ranking submission shall be awarded the Prize.

19.7 The platform is committed to fostering a fair and transparent competition. To uphold these values, all likes will be subject to routine verification to ensure alignment with the competition’s Conditions. Only authentic engagement, derived from genuine audience interactions, will be considered in the final evaluation. The platform reserves the right to validate or disregard engagement metrics that do not meet these standards, ensuring fairness for all participants. In the event of a tie between two or more submissions within a Category, the winner shall be the Entrant whose submission reached the final number of likes first.

20. Intellectual Property Rights

20.1 All Intellectual Property Rights included in the Competition entry will be owned by the Entrant.

20.2 All INFOMEDIJI owned content and materials including all pre-existing Trademarks shall remain the sole property of the INFOMEDIJI or its respective suppliers and INFOMEDIJI or its suppliers shall be the sole owner of all rights in connection therewith. The Entrant hereby grants to INFOMEDIJI a perpetual, worldwide, nonexclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, (where necessary modify), display and publish the Entrant -owned content and materials solely in connection with the Competition.

20.3 As a condition of receiving the prizes, the Entrant understands and agrees that there is nothing in this Agreement shall be taken to prevent Us from using the VR Content when promoting or marketing the Competition. INFOMEDIJI retains the right to use the Intellectual Property (VR Content) for marketing use; this includes the VR Content remaining on the Competition Website, on an on-going basis, and promotion of the VR Content across various social media channels of their choosing; INFOMEDIJI will be the sole arbiter of this issue.

20.4 As a condition of receiving the prizes, the Entrant understands and agrees that third-parties associated with the Competition have the right to promote the VR Content on their websites, and social media channels of their choosing. INFOMEDIJI retains the right to use Intellectual Property (VR Content) for marketing use; this includes the Intellectual property remaining on the various Competition Websites on an on-going basis, INFOMEDIJI will be the sole arbiter of this issue.

20.5 Entrant’s submissions must not contain any third-party Intellectual Property Rights unless the Entrant can provide an unrestricted licence to use such Intellectual Property Rights for the purposes of the Competition, and that such right may be transferred to INFOMEDIJI in accordance with the DeoVR Terms. It is the responsibility of any winning Entrant in that case to ensure that such transfer takes place prior to payment of any prize.

20.6 Submissions must be free of any dongle, clock, timer, counter, hardware key, copy protection feature, replication device, “virus” or “worm” as those terms are commonly used in the computer industry, or other software code that may lock, disable or erase any of the Intellectual Property Rights, or any other software, programs or data contained within the submission.

20.7 If any material is found not to be owned by the Entrant, and no evidence of the right to use and assign the Intellectual Property Rights has been provided, the submission will be disqualified.

20.8 As a condition of receiving prizes, winners must agree to all the conditions outlined in Section 20 of these Conditions.

21. Delivery

21.1 Where applicable, INFOMEDIJI times of delivery of Prizes are Monday to Friday excluding weekends and Public Holidays.

21.2 Where applicable, Prizes will be sent to the delivery address that you have given at the point of registration. We cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect or incomplete. Please note that We do not deliver to PO boxes.

21.3 INFOMEDIJI shall bear all risk in respect of consignments until delivered to the prize winner. Once a prize has been received by you, all risk of damage to, or loss of, the Prize shall pass to you.

21.4 Delivery dates are approximate only and not an essential term of the Agreement. INFOMEDIJI shall have no liability in respect of delay in delivery of Prizes.

21.5 The winner is responsible for all relevant paperwork to allow INFOMEDIJI to deliver, including a signed POD (proof of deliver) and proof of age which will be requested prior to any Prize being awarded.

21.6 The winner must be aware that accepting deliver of any prize, including a signing a POD, will mean that all risk will transfer from INFOMEDIJI to you the winner.

21.7 Third-party terms and conditions apply to parts of the Prizes where applicable (including third-party warranties and PODs).

21.8 INFOMEDIJI cannot be held responsible for any shipping or export restrictions imposed by any country. Such an issue would be classed as Force Majeure under these terms.

22. Indemnification

22.1 The Entrant shall indemnify INFOMEDIJI and keep INFOMEDIJI indemnified against any liability to any third-party arising out of or connected with the Entrant’s use of the goods, prizes, etc.

22.2 The Entrant hereby indemnifies and holds harmless INFOMEDIJI against all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs or expenses howsoever arising incurred by INFOMEDIJI in-connection with the Agreement as a result of a breach by the Entrant of any provision of this Agreement, law or regulation.

23. Eligibility

23.1 Employees (or members of the families or households of employees) of INFOMEDIJI are not eligible to enter the Competition. INFOMEDIJI reserves the right not to award a prize if We are aware or have reasonable grounds to believe that a winner is not eligible.

23.2 By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.

 

Schedule 1.

 

Prizes:

  • 1st place: 1 SLAM XCAM Plus+ VR180 3D Camera worth $1,499 (1 winner per Category, 3 winners in total)

    • SLAM XCAM Plus+ VR180 3D Camera can only be shipped to addresses in Western Europe, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Australia, and Mainland China. Delivery of the SLAM XCAM will be arranged within 30 days after the Competition concludes. INFOMEDIJI may also require that any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or local charges be borne by the prize recipient. In regions where shipment is not possible or not supported, INFOMEDIJI reserves the right to offer a replacement prize at its sole discretion.

 

  • 2nd place: $1,000 USD for production funding (1 winner per Category, 3 winners in total)

    • As a condition of receiving the $1,000 USD for production funding, the winner shall upload at least one new VR Content video to the Website within three (3) months of receipt of the Prize. The video must be produced using the Prize funds, monetised in accordance with DeoVR’s standard terms, and shall remain publicly available on the Website for a minimum period of six (6) months.

  • 3rd place: 1 DeoVR Lifetime Subscription (1 winner per Category, 3 winners in total)

  • 4th place: 1 DeoVR Annual Subscription (1 winner per Category, 3 winners in total)

  • 5th place: 1 DeoVR Monthly Subscription (1 winner per Category, 3 winners in total)

All prizes including any applicable taxes, including but not limited to withholding taxes.

 

Schedule 2.

 

Objective:

Through this competition, We aim to celebrate and showcase the creativity of immersive VR video creators. Whether it’s a live performance, a real-world exploration, or a cinematic story, this is your chance to shine on DeoVR. Participants can submit original content in one of three categories—Live Performance, Exploration & Reality, or Cinematic Expression—for a chance to win a SLAM XCAM Plus+ camera, production funding, and DeoVR subscription prizes as outlined in Schedule 1.
