There are many solutions for turning fisheye footage into equirectangular, but none when it comes to the reverse. We've created a tutorial that shows how to convert equirectangular footage into fisheye projection using FFmpeg. This has many advantages and uses, such as the ability to apply an alpha channel to your footage for passthrough and much more. 

The VR.cam team are an up and coming VR company based in France, made up of an technical team with plenty of experience in live streaming and broadcast. Their aim is to offer good quality VR streaming at an affordable price. This is the follow-up to the previous model, the VR.cam 01 (out of stock), but this new camera is geared more toward the public sector and mainstream entertainment, such as live events, concerts and theatrical productions. Does it succeed? 

We are working on a project to modify and improve the Canon RF5.2mm dual fisheye lens. This lens is a key element of the Canon EOS VR ecosystem behind most of the high-grade stereoscopic 180° VR content available today. However, the default 60mm IPD gives scaling issues, making the visuals look less realistic and less immersive. Our goal is to alter this IPD to deliver lifelike visuals with accurate scaling.
