Looking to create awe-inspiring VR content on a budget? Here is the first in a series of guides to creating virtual reality videos to host on DeoVR. In this guide, we will take a look at the free open-source VR video editing software, Shotcut.

We'd like to know your thoughts on 10-bit color vs 8-bit color VR at DeoVR. The Meta Quest Pro has a 10-bit screen, making it capable of displaying 10-bit VR video and this looks set to be possible many upcoming new VR headsets too. 10-bit visuals can display up to 1.07 billion colors, offering 64 times more than the 16.7 million colors of 8-bit video. We have uploaded some sample footage and we'd like you to take a close look and tell us what you think! 

Make your own adventures and share them with the VR community! We're delighted to announce that playlists are now live at DeoVR on the web. This is a high-demand feature with DeoVR users, and we're excited to see where you guys take it. It's very easy to find - you'll see the Public Playlists button on the left-hand menu on the web and in the menu option on mobile. [Updated Sept 2023]

The latest update of the DeoVR app adds the ability to smoothly stream subtitles for all your VR content. This also includes support for many global alphabets, including all European alphabets, Cyrillic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Armenian, Georgian, Thai and Malayalam.
