Trackside in VR180: Amtrak Sunset Limited Train 2 at Wymola, Arizona | Canon RF-S 3.9mm Dual Fisheye
New: AI passthrough!
This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.
Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.
Check out our complete guide to passthrough and join in the discussion at our busy forum.
This version was captured using the Canon RF-S 3.9mm Dual Fisheye lens ("Wormhole") and is part of the Wymola Experiment—a comparison of two Canon VR180 lens systems and two very different trains from the same location under nearly identical conditions.
Watch for the unexpected Pennsylvania Railroad private railcar bringing up the rear of the consist.
Look around freely. The experience isn't just the train—it's the morning light, the desert landscape, the signal bridge, and the feeling of standing trackside on one of America's great transcontinental rail corridors.
Location: Wymola, Arizona, USA
Railroad: Union Pacific Sunset Route
Train: Amtrak Sunset Limited No. 2 (Eastbound)
Camera: Canon EOS R7 + Canon RF-S 3.9mm Dual Fisheye

If you enjoy immersive railroading in VR, I'd love to hear what you notice. A companion version filmed with Canon's RF 5.2mm Dual Fisheye lens is also available for comparison.
