New: AI passthrough!
This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.
Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.
Check out our complete guide to passthrough and join in the discussion at our busy forum.
In this video, we wander down the bustling main streets, walk under a stunning canopy of floating, colorful umbrellas, and marvel at the breathtaking Cattedrale di Sant'Agata right in the heart of the city center. We also take a quick detour into a hidden artist alleyway where the entire street is covered in incredible, vivid graffiti art!
Grab a cannolo, sit back, and let’s explore Catania together! ☀️✨
💡 Cool Facts About Catania:
The Elephant City: The symbol of Catania is "u Liotru"—an ancient basalt elephant statue standing in the Piazza del Duomo. It's said to protect the city from the eruptions of Mount Etna!
Built from Fire: Because Catania sits at the foot of Mount Etna, much of the historic center's unique black-and-grey baroque architecture was built using actual volcanic lava stone.
The Reborn City: Catania has been destroyed and rebuilt several times due to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, giving it a beautifully resilient spirit and a unique mix of underground history.
