New: AI passthrough!

This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.

Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.

This VR 180 3D experience takes you to the National Clustered Spires High Wheel Race, which was held in Frederick, Maryland on July 16, 2022. This unique racing event—the only high wheel race of its kind in the United States—involves racers from around the world riding antique or modern high wheel bicycles in a criterium (multi-lap) race along a 0.4 mile route through historic downtown Frederick.

A high wheel bicycle (also known as a Penny Farthing, high wheeler, and ordinary) is a type of bicycle with a large front wheel and a much smaller rear wheel that was popular in the 1880s. The first Penny Farthing was invented in 1871 by British engineer James Starley. The Penny Farthing came after the development of the 'Hobbyhorse', and the French 'Velocipede' or 'Boneshaker', all versions of early bikes. However, the Penny Farthing was the first efficient bicycle, consisting of a small rear wheel and large front wheel which pivoted on a simple tubular frame with rubber tires.
