The main hall of Xuefeng Temple, the core structure of the temple, was first built in the Tang Dynasty, with the existing building rebuilt in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is a typical Minnan-style gable and hip roof architecture. The hall has five bays in width and three in depth, with overhanging eaves and upturned corners, as well as carved beams and painted rafters, showing an ancient and solemn atmosphere. Inside the hall, there are three statues of the Huayan Sutra, over ten feet high, with bright gold paint and serene expressions. Between the beams and columns hang many inscribed plaques by celebrities of past dynasties, among which the plaque "Master Zhenjue" from the Song Dynasty is of great historical value. The main hall is not only an important venue for religious activities, but its architectural form and decorative art also reflect the high level of ancient architecture in the Minnan region, serving as an important material for studying local religious and architectural culture.
