In late April, Goryokaku Park is a popular cherry blossom viewing spot with approximately 1,600 Someiyoshino and Yaezakura cherry trees in full bloom. 2022 was an earlier-than-usual year for blooming. Due to the new Corona, drinking, banquets, eating, and the use of fire are prohibited.
