Its an headache to cook while sailing - i find some of the instant just-add-water type meals are super convenient - and a quick way to get something to take the edge off hungry.

Forgot to mention - while this is an hot-meal ready to go, its fairly small, at only about 250 calories, which is nowhere close to what you consume while working the boat all day.. so you need at least 6-8 of these if that was your only food for a day. at $15 a pop you can do better for crew meals - however they ARE handy for quick food break when single handing and then do an omelette with some rice for bulk - later in the day.
