New: AI passthrough!
This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.
Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.

I tested several modes on the AcePro2:
- 8K per eye, 30 fps, 16:9 aspect ratio
- 4K+ per eye (3840 × 2880, 4:3), 60 fps, stabilized
- 4K+ per eye (4096 × 3072, FreeView), 60 fps, unstabilized (since stabilization isn’t available in FreeView mode)
The Kandao Qoocam 3 Ultra was set to 8K 30 fps, K-Log.
Conclusion:
Across all tested modes, the AcePro2 delivered noticeably better image quality, despite with a narrower field of view. However, footage from walking or driving shots with the AcePro2 was almost unusable in any mode due to very jerky stabilization - perhaps a gimbal could mitigate this issue.
The Kandao Qoocam 3 Ultra (VR180 modded) remains the most versatile and user-friendly budget option for capturing VR180 content.
