This 8K VR180 documentary is Episode 06 of the “Within Reach” portrait series. You sit face-to-face with “Dongge”, a Chongqing native who moved through media and digital content jobs while following the standard “good daughter” script of being obedient, stable, and on track—until a failed start-up and a family-backed hotel project pushed her to rethink everything and gradually become the host of YES Wild-Style Hotel and the Inspiration Rome restaurant. She looks back on the years when life felt arranged for her, unpacks why that first venture collapsed because the “business loop” was never really closed, and talks candidly about trying to run a high-ticket restaurant hidden inside a hotel in Chongqing’s market. Above all, she explains why she insists on long-term word-of-mouth, on soft décor and tiny details: to turn these spaces into the places where people choose to spend anniversaries and quietly mark their life moments.
