The Busan Christmas Tree Festival transforms the streets of Nampo-dong and Gwangbok-ro into a luminous winter spectacle each year, turning the heart of Busan into a glowing celebration of light and color.

Held annually from late November through early January, the festival fills the downtown district with towering Christmas trees, elaborate LED installations, and themed light sculptures that stretch across the main shopping streets.

As night falls, the entire area becomes a vibrant outdoor stage. Music performances, seasonal markets, and festive decorations create an atmosphere that blends holiday warmth with Busan’s energetic coastal spirit.

Surrounded by nearby attractions such as Jagalchi Market and BIFF Square, the festival offers visitors not only dazzling visuals but also street food, shopping, and cultural exploration within walking distance.

More than a holiday display, the Busan Christmas Tree Festival has become a symbol of winter in the city — a place where lights, laughter, and ocean air come together beneath the glow of thousands of sparkling bulbs.
