Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).

This 3D experience brings you two art pieces created by artist John Chang, which are part of the Unfolding: Dualities exhibit that is on display at the Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City, Maryland between April 12 to May 26, 2024. The pieces shown in this video are Bottles (2023) and Journey 15 (2023). By invoking calligraphic forms, Chang’s paintings comment on the distortion of language and reclaim the energy of the written word.
John Chang's East/West identity enriches his memory and brings flashbacks from lives lived in many places. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Chang is currently based in Southern California. He has an MFA in Visual Art from College of Art and Design at Lesley University. He also gained a B.A., School of Art and Design, Shanghai Institute of Technology Shanghai, China. He also studied with artists Xu Bing and Judith Barry.
