Get the action happening right at your place with DeoVR passthrough. Open a video in DeoVR app and click
Passthrough values:
- Hue: 0
- Saturation: 0
- Brightness: 0
- Color range: 0
- Falloff: 1000
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.

Insta 360 Pro
I recorded the 2017 total eclipse with the Insta360 Pro virtual reality camera during a road trip around Yellowstone National Park. I never did anything with it but the upcoming 2024 eclipse has inspired me to share.
The video is in real time and the change of lighting over 5-minutes is dramatic.
DISCLOSURES:
- I captured the eclipse with series of still images for higher quality than video recording. So, the audio track is manufactured from stock music and sound effects.
- The camera did not have the dynamic range to see the moon's disc over the sun. I added the moon shadow in editing to enhance the audience experience.
