This short 360° walk across Waibaidu Bridge (外白渡桥), heading from south to north, showcases its striking LED lighting and some of Shanghai’s most iconic landmarks, including the Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower, Oriental Pearl Tower, and the People’s Heroes Memorial Tower illuminated in red.

Crossing over Suzhou Creek, Waibaidu Bridge holds historical significance as the first all-steel bridge built in China. It also played an important role during the Sino-Japanese conflict, serving as a boundary between Japanese-occupied areas and the international concessions.

Today, the bridge is a favorite destination for both locals and tourists, offering spectacular skyline views and countless photo opportunities. The surrounding area features museums, historic mansions, offices, and even the Consulate of Russia in Shanghai, visible near the northern end of the bridge.

Recorded in 360-degree format with an Insta360 One X using an Invisible Selfie Stick.

Recorded on May 7, 2024.
