"From the serene black shores to the rugged path toward the hidden green gem."

Our second day on the Big Island began with the fresh morning breeze of Hilo. We left our hotel and headed south to witness the island's most contrasting landscapes.

Our first stop was Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach. Walking on the volcanic black sand while observing sea turtles resting on the shore was a truly peaceful start to the day. The deep black coast against the crashing white waves is a sight you must experience in 8K VR.

Next, we stopped at the southernmost town in the U.S., Naalehu. We were lucky enough to catch the local market in full swing! After some local shopping and a delicious meal from a food truck, we were fueled up for our next big adventure.

The highlight of this episode is the beginning of our journey to the rare Papakōlea Green Sand Beach. Since the path is too rugged for ordinary cars, we hopped onto a local pick-up truck to traverse the wild terrain. Feel the bumps and the excitement of the off-road ride as we head toward one of the world's only four green sand beaches!
