Es una avenida peatonal ajardinada en el centro de Gijón, con bancos, templete y zona infantil. • It’s a landscaped pedestrian avenue in central Gijón, with benches, a bandstand, and a children’s area. • Se originó en el siglo XIX como espacio de recreo y fue remodelado en 1992 y 2004. • It originated in the 19th century as a leisure space and was renovated in 1992 and 2004. • Alberga el Teatro Jovellanos y el histórico Café Dindurra. • It houses the Jovellanos Theater and the historic Café Dindurra. ⛪ Iglesia de San Lorenzo • Construida entre 1896 y 1901 por Luis Bellido y González, en estilo neogótico. • Built between 1896 and 1901 by Luis Bellido y González, in neo-Gothic style. • Tiene planta de cruz latina, vidrieras, pináculos y rosetón central. • Features a Latin cross layout, stained glass, pinnacles, and a central rose window. • Fue parcialmente destruida en 1936 y restaurada posteriormente. • It was partially destroyed in 1936 and later restored.
