New: AI passthrough!
This amazing Deo feature uses the power of AI to turn every VR scene into AR passthrough! Now you can take characters out of VR and have them right there with you - as if they were in the same room.
Notice: AI Passthrough is presently in beta mode, and as such, users may encounter occasional service imperfections. The feature is currently exclusive to the DeoVR app, but it will soon be accessible on both browsers and mobile devices. Your feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
Recommended headsets:
Meta Quest 3, and Quest Pro with stereoscopic color passthrough, Pico 4 (monoscopic color passthrough).
Compatible headsets:
Quest 2, Valve Index (monoscopic black and white passthrough).
Passthrough is not compatible yet for Oculus Link cable.

Within Reach is a long-term documentary project based on immersive imaging.
Through close-range, first-person experiences, the project records and preserves the life stories of ordinary people—their memories, experiences, and values.
We believe that every seemingly ordinary life is, in fact, a complete and independent monument, deserving to be listened to with care and preserved using the most advanced imaging technologies available today.
“Within Reach” refers not only to the physical distance between the viewer and the subject in immersive media, but also to the psychological distance at which genuine stories can be shared with honesty and trust.
The first work in the series features my grandparents, Huang Yuanji and Xiao Zhaorong.
Huang Yuanji began his medical career as a reserve medic during the Korean War. He later served for many years along China’s southwestern border, before returning to the countryside to help establish a modern hospital, where he eventually became its director. In the film, he reflects on his life—war, medicine, responsibility, and construction.
