Tutorial: Send a live preview of your VR content using Mistika

Here's how to use Mistika to send a live preview of your VR video to someone outside your local network. It's all possible via port forwarding and the DeoVR app. 

Note: This is live preview only, not live streaming. This means one frame at a time, with a couple of seconds to refresh after each change. 

How to send a live preview using Mistika: 

For the purposes of this explanation, your internal IP address is 10.10.10.100 and your external IP address is 111.111.111.11

In Mistika, you are given a link to use across your local network: http://10.10.10.100:8888/vr/manifest.dj3u

Port forward your external IP address to your local IP. It should look something like: http://111.111.111.11:99999/vr/manifest.dj3u

Now, others can preview your results in their headset by typing your link in the Deovr app.
