Playing with the older GoPro 9ish aftermarket Lens-Mod option - the image circle on these lenses are too big for the 5.3k video the circle are 5200px -practically speaking north of 10k 180vr file - loosing a bit off the top and bottom give a huge gain in general pixel resolution, this was rendered to 8K and up-frammed to 60fps in FCPxi
Random math - Canon R5c files have two-circles each about 4000px
the dual GoPro with this lens create two circles with about 5200px diameter
thats roughly 12megapix data in my canon and about 16megapix in the GoPro circles - all the leaves on the hedge is what we are looking for, lots of data.
