The Fukagawa Hachiman Festival (the Annual Grand Festival of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine) is one of the "Three Great Festivals of Edo Tokyo," alongside the Sanno Festival at Hie Shrine in Akasaka and the Kanda Festival at Kanda Myojin Shrine.

Centered around Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine in Koto Ward, it is known nationwide as the "Water-Splashing Festival" due to the spirited practice of dousing the portable shrine bearers with water.

The year 2026 will mark the "Main Festival," which takes place once every three years.
