For those who are curious, this is the Prades Lock (écluse de Prades), located on the Canal du Midi in Agde, France. It's one of the very last locks before reaching the Mediterranean Sea! Built around 1676, this single-chamber lock is found at kilometer point 232.9. It plays a crucial role just before the canal crosses the Hérault River and is, of course, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site.
