Seeing' and playing good tunes is the aim of the Antiri, taking it's name from Palantiri in the Tolkien's Elvish world. Samuel De Santi, who leads the project, has been seeking and playing tunes in the folk tradition since age 5. For over 20 years Sam has experienced a number of musical traditions - Australian, Italian and of course Celtic. Playing guitar, violin and tenor banjo (not all at the same time) Sam will be joined by young Celtic accordion protege Jack Memaris, the versatile and the delicate and tasteful backing of Paul Henderson on guitar. Be ready for a virtuosic musical tapestry
