The Rhine Falls (German: der Rheinfall) is a waterfall in the Rhine River,
in Switzerland. It is Europe's largest waterfall, second widest after Ventas Rumba in Latvia.[source needed]
The Rhine Falls is located in the northernmost part of Switzerland, near the city of Schaffhausen and
on the border between the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall in the canton of Schaffhausen and
Laufen-Uhwiesen in the canton of Zurich.

At the waterfall, which is 150 meters wide, the Rhine River drops 23 meters.
