Inside Katz’s: A short about pastrami. Mostly.

Since 1888, Katz’s Delicatessen has stood on the corner of Ludlow and East Houston, feeding the Lower East Side one hand-carved pastrami sandwich at a time. The line still runs out the door. The pastrami is still cut by hand, and the meat is still stacked higher than seems reasonable. And yes, people still ask which table it was.

This VR180 short puts you right in the middle of it: the neon, the noise, the slicing counter and the beautiful chaos of one of New York’s last great delis. No ticket required. No line. No pastrami, regrettably.

Filmed in stereoscopic VR180 by Specterras Productions, Brooklyn, NY.
