The Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is oriented, made of brick, basilican in form, later becoming basilican-emporial, three-aisled, buttressed, two-towered, with a small spire on the roof of the main nave. The chancel and the apse of the aisles are polygonally closed from the outside. On the south side, the church body is extended by St. James' Chapel, a vestibule, and two sacristies known as the Large and Small Sacristies. On the north aisle, there is the Ogrojec Chapel with a vestibule. The chancel is rounded from the inside. It is covered with a domed vault featuring illusionistic polychrome depicting the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through a rainbow arch hung on consoles, it opens to the main nave, which is connected to the side aisles by pointed, profiled arcades on octagonal pillars.
