There was a window of fairly dry weather, so I headed out for a short adventure. This is the first time I have approached this burn area from the north. It was surprising how rough the ground was from the excavators. With this level of land clearing, it makes me wonder if they are developing this land for future residences. Hopefully I can explore all the boulders before they are also excavated.
There was a pause in me posting new videos because I was working on a new color grading model. I started basically from scratch in DaVinci Resolve after noticing the dark areas of my videos were being crunched too heavily to black. I did a bunch of manipulation until I was satisfied with a new color grading LUT I can apply to this and future videos. Since I have been shooting in Log Color on my Insta360 One R, as long as I keep the same settings I can apply the same LUT to achieve a similar look.
This is a 360° video which means you can click and drag around or use a VR device to change the view. Whatever I saw on location, you can also see. Make sure to view in 4K resolution, or higher if possible. Lower resolutions look hideous. On Desktop browser, I recommend full screen and zoom out with mouse wheel as far as allowed. It's hard to view 360° on the mobile app because it's zoomed in too close.
