Great Aletsch Glacier - Initial Contact :-) - 8K 3D 180°

I’ve wanted to fly over the Great Aletsch Glacier for years. This is my ‘initial contact’. The weather isn’t great, thunderstorms are rolling in, the light is dim – and my new camera mount is still making strange noises when I turn it. What’s more, I’ve only flown over the end of the glacier.

But I don´t mind: That was my long-awaited first glimpse of the glacier. I’m impressed. It’s sooo big! I couldn't really picture it from the photos before. You can only really show that in VR – how else?

If the weather plays along, I’ll be able to fly further in and take better pictures, but I really wanted to capture and share my first encounter!
