On my second day, the Great Aletsch Glacier was already looking much better – with more sunshine, fewer and, above all, higher clouds! But I didn’t just want to see the Glacier from below – I wanted to fly over it! To do this, with a bit of patience, I reached a sufficient altitude of 3,700 m on the Aletschhorn to “jump” (at 2:08 min) over the ridge into the upper Lötschental and over the pass to the glacier. In the end, that was of course higher than necessary and completely comfortable, but it was my first time up there after all!
As you can see, I also take quite a lot of 2D photos and videos :-)
The camera is now positioned a bit higher so that the tablet (for navigation) isn’t in the way so much.
Although the video is uncut, I already put a lot of effort in improving colours and contrast so that you can already enjoy!
