Mount Murone, Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan: Azalea Festival, Paragliding / 岩手県一関市 室根山 つつじまつり、パラグライダー【岩手県 一関市 室根山 2026年05月31日】

This is a video I took during my visit to Mount Murone in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, which stands at an elevation of 895 meters.
The “Mount Murone Azalea Festival” was taking place at the time, and the entire area was covered in red azaleas.
From Mount Murone, you can see Oshima Island in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture.
I was also able to watch paragliders take off from the launch site near the summit.

岩手県一関市の標高:895mの室根山に訪れたときの動画です。
ちょうど「室根山つつじまつり」が開催されていて、一面が赤いつつじに覆われていました。
室根山からは宮城県気仙沼の大島が見えます。
山頂付近の離陸場からパラグライダーが離陸する様子も観ることができました。
