This film follows a three-week expedition across some of the country's most spectacular regions. Along the way we explore the breathtaking Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons on Earth, visit the famous Condor Cross viewpoint, and travel through remote Andean highlands dotted with traditional villages and dramatic mountain scenery.
The adventure continues through Sibayo, Espinar, Mauk'allaqta, the Three Canyons, and the colorful Rainbow Mountains before reaching the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We visit the historic sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, experience local traditions and cuisine, and cross the spectacular Abra Málaga Pass into the cloud forests of the high jungle near Quillabamba.
The final part of the journey leads to the world-famous citadel of Machu Picchu and concludes in the historic Inca capital of Cusco.
