ᯅ CANON Cinema EOS C50 VR180 3-Day Trip to Seoul 韓国ソウルのVR旅

このVR180動画は、Canon EOS C50とRF5.2mm Dual Fisheyeで撮影した7K映像です。韓国・ソウルの観光地を巡りながら、旅の記録として撮影しました。

撮影データはすべてMP4形式で収録しています。色味は撮って出しでも十分に美しく見えるCanon 709を採用し、編集はAdobe Premiere ProとEOS VR Plugin for Adobe Premiere Proのみで行いました。いわゆるAIによる画像補正は一切かけていません。

60Pを実現するためにRAW撮影を重視する傾向がありますが、ファイルサイズの小さいMP4でも十分にきれいな映像が撮れることを、この作品を通じて実感しました。メモリーや保存コストが高騰している今の時代において、MP4中心の撮影スタイルはむしろ合理的な選択肢のひとつかもしれません。

This VR180 video was shot in 7K with a Canon EOS C50 and RF5.2mm Dual Fisheye lens. It was filmed as a travel record while touring popular sightseeing spots in Seoul, South Korea.

All footage was recorded in MP4 format. Canon 709 was used for color, as it looks clean straight out of camera, and editing was done entirely with Adobe Premiere Pro and the EOS VR Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro. No AI-based image correction was applied.

I tend to favor RAW recording in order to achieve 60p, but through this project I found that MP4's smaller file size can still deliver plenty of image quality. At a time when memory and storage costs keep rising, an MP4-centered shooting workflow may be a reasonable choice for the times.
