20th Century Nostalgia - Hometown Stories: VRLOG 048

I could easily make a feature length documentary about how nostalgia from 1950-2000 will most likely be around for hundreds and hundreds of years. It was a sliver of time where pop-culture met technology... but it wasn/'t yet splintered. It started transitioning in the late 80s with the cable explosion and finished in the late 90s with the internet. Before those advancements we all had a shared zeitgeist. It created some really incredible moments and feelings.

Returning to your childhood home will do that no matter what however and I/'m pretty excited to let you guys peek in. The Thriller Viewmaster part is one I/'m especially proud of as that took me forever. Hope you like it!

And as always... shot in 8k at 60fps. A reality that meant 96+ hours to simply PROCESS the 7 1/2 hours of raw files to prepare for editing. Goodness. Come on Canon - give us 8k60 with a codec!!!! I WILL BUY IT INSTANTLY.
