Happy Lunar New Year! This video presents a stunning performance by the acclaimed Steinway Artist Wei Luo, set against the backdrop of the Red Ball Art Festival at the Oculus, World Trade Center in New York City. Celebrating the Lunar New Year, the festival has transformed the space with an array of enormous red orbs, which represent the concept of ‘roundness,’ closely associated with ‘completeness’ and ‘unity.’. Wei Luo, known for her emotive power and technical finesse, is the centerpiece of this event. Dressed in a white gown that beautifully contrasts with the vivid reds, she performs the traditional Chinese melody "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" on a Steinway grand piano. The music, filled with the hopes and dreams of the new year, flows through the grandeur of the Oculus.
