This video takes you inside Mall 505, a 505-meter-long outdoor shopping mall located near Tsuchiura Station in Ibaraki, Japan.
Opened in 1985, Mall 505 was built on the former site of the Kawaguchi River, giving it a long and gently curved layout.
Today, it has a quiet and nostalgic atmosphere, with many closed storefronts, while some shops and events still remain.
In this VR180 walking tour, the route starts from the east side of Mall 505 and continues west along the first floor.
After reaching the west side, the walk goes up to the second floor, continues through the upper levels, then moves to the third floor before returning near the starting point.
Experience the long outdoor passage, the quiet second and third floors, and the unique atmosphere beneath the Tsuchiura New Way elevated road.
