I filmed the Kirishima azaleas at Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine again this year (2026), just as I did in 2022.

Azaleas in Kyoto begin to bloom around the time the cherry blossoms fall (mid-April).

The shrine's website states, "Commercial filming is prohibited. Prior application is required for commercial use." Therefore, I called a few days before filming to request permission and to report my intention to post the　viedo online.

For individuals like myself, filming is permitted as long as the video does not include any footage where other people's faces are identifiable.
