How to put the Oculus Quest 2 into Developer mode:
Go to:
https://developer.oculus.com/manage/organizations/create/
It will prompt you to log in if you're not already.
This is where you create a developer organization under your account, which is required before you can put your Quest into developer mode. You can put any name you want, click on I UNDERSTAND, then on SUBMIT.
Once that is done, open up the Oculus app on your phone.
Select DEVICES.
Make sure your Quest shows as CONNECTED up top, then scroll down and select DEVELOPER MODE.
Toggle on Developer mode.
You shouldn't have to but for good measure, now reboot your Quest.
You can verify your Quest is in developer mode by going into APPS and in the upper right hand drop down menu you should now see the option at the bottom named "UNKNOWN SOURCES".
Congratulations! You can now sideload apps onto your Quest using SideQuest or The Oculus Migraine.
