For 17 days, the world held it\'s collective breath as the Wild Boars boys soccer team trapped in Tham Luong cave in Northern Thailand. Director and writer Tom Waller set out to tell the story of the \"unsung heroes,\" the rescuers that worked tirelessly to save the boys and their coach.
The Cave features four of the divers playing themselves – Warny, Erik Brown from Canada, Mikko Paasi from Finland, and Tan Xiaolong from China – giving the scripted drama a documentary feel as they re-enact the rescue.
Tom Waller enlisted Al Caudullo to create a VR Experience that has already moved many who have been given a sneak peek to tears. #TheCaveVRExperience has already been featured as part of the \"Next Reality, VR Cinema\" at the Busan Film Festival in South Korea. Now the audiences for select showings will get to don VR Headsets to be in the cave. Indeed, they get to \"be\" the coach as he is the last to be rescued from the cave.
