This 3D 180 VR experience takes you to a performance by La Diablada Boliviana during the Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead Festival at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, Maryland on October 29, 2022. The Diablada, also known as the Danza de los Diablos (Dance of the Devils), is a Bolivian folk dance characterized by performers who wear masks and costumes which represent the devil and other characters from pre-Columbian theology and mythology. The dance later combined Spanish and Christian elements which were added during the colonial era.
