Come Chill With the Buffalos and I in Immersive 360° VR

Put on your VR headset, look around, and spend a few minutes hanging out with the buffalos.

This 360° video was filmed at a buffalo farm, and it is mostly just what it sounds like: me hanging out with enormous, ancient, surprisingly calm animals while they graze, stare, breathe, and completely ignore my existence. There is no dramatic music, no fake “danger,” and no need to over-explain it. Sometimes the best thing you can do is stand quietly beside an animal that has been roaming North America for thousands of years.

And yes—technically, the animals in this video are bison, not true buffalo. In North America, people use “buffalo” and “bison” interchangeably all the time, and “buffalo” is the informal name most of us grew up with. But scientifically, these are American bison (Bison bison). True buffalo, like water buffalo and African buffalo, are different animals from different parts of the world. Bison have that unmistakable shoulder hump, massive heads, thick winter coats, and shorter, sharper horns.
