Fushimi Inari Taisha is the main shrine of Inari Shrines on Shinto in various parts of Japan.
At Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, the fox is considered to be the priest of the Inari god.
The area around the Senbon Torii is said to have started with the construction of many torii gates as a gate leading from this world to the ghost world where God is.
The torii is built by the dedication of worshipers.
It is said that the belief was born from the pun that the wish passes by offering the torii gate.
It is said that there is also a custom of changing the torii gate into a larger one and dedicating it every time a wish is passed.
