Please join me skating virtually (in #360°) as I "escape" the hilly Edinburgh by utilizing the flat surface of a bike trail that follows the historic and beautiful Union Canal. The Union Canal path can be made a part of a larger trip as there are five interconnected Scottish Canals, together making 141 miles of waterway network, reaching Glasgow and beyond. A warning for inline skaters: some parts of the network are rough (gravel-like) and some small segments, esp. under bridges, are paved with cobbled stones, which I tackle by ... walking.
