360° Ascent of Cumberland Gap

360° drive up Cumberland Gap on Pinnacle View Road. This Autumn footage ends a the Pinnacles Overlook Parking Area. The video is all in Kentucky on October 25, 2024 with fall foliage near peak color. From the overlook, you can see Kentucky, Virginia, & Tennessee. Construction of the roadway started in 1956 and completed in 1958 and ends at the Pinnacle Overlook Parking Area, approximately 2,411 ft (735 m) in elevation.
