Worry worm in a few minutes

Heute habe ich Hanna besucht, die Mutter aller Handarbeit. Wir schauen ihr dabei über die Schulter, wie sie in Windeseile einen "Worry Worm", oder auch Trost- oder Glückswurm erstellt. Hanna nennt Sie Glückswürmer, denn sie sollen Glück bringen. Über 100 dieser Exemplare liegen auf dem Tisch und es sind schon viele hundert Stück, die in ihren Händen entstanden sind. Euch allen wünscht die 81 jährige Hanna von Fehmarn viel Glück auf allen Wegen. - Today I visited Hanna, the mother of all handicrafts. We look over her shoulder as she creates a “worry worm”, or comfort or happiness worm, in no time at all. Hanna calls them lucky worms because they are supposed to bring luck. There are over 100 of these copies on the table and there are already many hundreds of them that have been created in her hands. 81-year-old Hanna von Fehmarn wishes you all good luck in all your journeys. -
