Take a walk through the timeless streets of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare and one of England’s most historic market towns. In this video, we explore the town’s rich heritage, iconic landmarks, and charming Tudor architecture — all brought to life with beautiful visuals and storytelling.

We begin with a short overview of Stratford’s unique character before diving into the world of Shakespeare and the Royal Shakespeare Company, whose presence still echoes throughout the town. From the famous Henley Street, where Shakespeare was born, to the historic Garrick Inn on High Street, every corner of Stratford tells a story.

Wander with us down Chapel Street, where the Hotel Indigo reveals its centuries-old past, and marvel at the Mercure Shakespeare Hotel and the Tudor-style homes surrounding it.

We then head towards the scenic River Avon, where canal boats, wildlife, and peaceful boat tours provide a moment of calm just steps away from the RSC theatre.

Finally, we visit the Gower Memorial, featuring Shakespeare and four of his greatest characters, and close at the Shakespeare Memorial Fountain, a symbol of the town’s global appreciation.

Whether you’re a history lover, theatre fan, or just curious about one of England’s most iconic towns — this is Stratford-upon-Avon like you’ve never seen it before.
