Lux Aeterna (“Eternal Light”) is a serene meditation on hope and everlasting peace. Written for mezzo-soprano, tenor, and bass, the movement blends luminous orchestral colors with expressive vocal writing, offering a moment of quiet reflection before the dramatic conclusion of Verdi’s Requiem.
