Day 4. Toyusu.
Team Lab is a immersive Museum where you are interacting with the art piece from with in. The art is inside four massive exhibition spaces and two gardens. You walk, wade, crawl, through the exhibits. In several pieces, it reacts to your and other visitor's action so the experience is unique every time. in one room, you wade through water a foot deep with lights and shapes projected on the water, In another, thousands of LED string lights hang from the ceiling and the lights are synced to the music to create a 3 dimensional space you walk through. The mirrored floor further blur the boundary of space. Ye, I travel all the way to Tokyo Japan to go see an art museum. But this is not just any art museum, It was a great experience.
A couple of things about the museum. You will be walking in water up to a foot deep so wear shorts or have loose pants that you can roll your pants up. Several exhibits have mirrored floor so I'd skip the skirts. the exhibit with the water is all water. Go slow and be careful with your phone or camera. Some exhibits are not babies, young kids, persons with mobility issues, cardiac or pulmonary health issues friendly. They have lockers for backpacks and purses but not luggage. you will be bear foot through out the museum.
Otherwise, it is great fun.
