Finally after boulder distractions were satisfied I made it to the butte I intended to climb. A road cut down the center of the butte, a pleasant surprise since maps show no such road. The butte was mostly clear of underbrush, so it was easy to walk anywhere I wanted. I visited a boulder pile before going to the summit. There were a couple nice views between the trees, though the lacking detail in the 360° will make them hard to appreciate.
I recovered my vocal audio using an AI processor since the audio recording on my Insta360 One R is atrocious. No more terrible noises of the selfie stick vibrating. The unfortunate side effect is that all the sounds of me walking through the forest was also removed by the AI. In future recordings I'll record using my external device which will hopefully produce better results while still picking up some of the ambient sounds.
This is a 360° video which means you can click and drag around to change the view. Whatever I saw on location, you can also see - albeit with less clarity due to video compression.
