Suddenly, the frightened horses jumped up and the cart slid down a steep embankment. Before people realized what happened, the cart stopped at the bank of the Biała Lądecka River, where the horses were quenching their thirst. The inhabitants of Lądek-Zdrój considered this event to be something unusual, because no traces of where the cart had gone were found on the mountain.
